Seattle Black Feminists

Scrapbook page of bell hooks

Driven by a love of scrapbooking, all-things paper craft, and Black feminist women, we are hosting a scrapbooking day dedicated to BLACK FEMINISTS!

This event is open to all who are interested and will provide you the opportunity to engage in hands-on active learning about Black feminists here and from around the world!

There’s no need to have any experience in this craft. This event is for the novice to the seasoned scrapbooker! All materials are provided– you just show up! Of course if you have special projects, pictures you’re working on you are free to bring them. Otherwise, all materials for making an 8×8 scrapbook album (including images, paper, stickers, cutting tools, etc.) are all provided – we’ll even be binding our scrapbooks ourselves!
Food, music & good people will also be in the house!
Space is limited.
Location (Room # TBD – keep an eye on your email)

Are white people allowed?
The Black Feminist Library is a place of learning (so you can stop asking Black people to educate you). Our events, unless specifically stated, are open to all who are interested.
