YWCA’s Stand Against Racism: Restorative Justice w/ Keynote Fania Davis

What would happen if we shifted our approach to justice from harming, to healing? What would be possible if our systems of justice were not retributive, but restorative?

Join us to find out at the YWCA’s 6th Annual Stand Against Racism: Restorative Justice, with keynote speaker Fania Davis, social justice activist, civil rights attorney, and restorative justice professor.

Following the keynote, there will be a discussion on how this model can be used in Seattle with a panel of community partners from our criminal justice system. There will be light lunch provided from Bakeman’s Catering.

The YWCA asked those interested to register by the 22nd, but I’d still try and get in — call them!
