So many thanks to the editor of this work for bringing it to our attention. If you haven’t heard about it already, check out the Black is Beautiful zine! This current issue highlights Black is Beautiful Week — Black Women in Music Festival. The BWIMF is largely virtual and happening September 3-7, but there are some evening events you can attend that are going on in the Seattle-Tacoma area.
